Wish List

Wish List as of 1/06:

• Hunters!! The easiest and one of the most valuable contributions you can make is to donate your freezer burnt venison when you clean your freezer before hunting season rather than throwing it away!!

• The valuable food which is so expensive to feed three large cats could all be lost with one storm! We do not have a generator and desperately need one, if for nothing else than the freezer.

• We really need another freezer with the greater amount of meat we keep now with Casanova.

• The greatest expense and most difficult to find is used fencing to expand our perimeter fence which is 10 ft. tall. We can even use to pieces of 5 ft. fence hog wired together. Without expanding this perimeter fence we cannot enlarge their habitats. We literally have maxed out on the space within the required perimeter, but have 18 wasted acres we could be utilizing. Donations for this purpose will enhance their lives extremely.

• And of course all of the many tools used on any farm are always in need: shovels, rakes, hoses, wheel barrows, hay for bedding (in winter), play-sand for the litter boxes (yes they use small horse troughs for this).

• Zoo Enrichment Supply Company – Donors can pick from and purchase items from the Cougar Ridge Educational Central “wish list.” Your support is appreciated.
